Here is an easy and affordable DIY Industrial Farmhouse / Industrial Pendant Light that only takes 30 minutes or less to make. I purchased the light kit, metal drill bit, and can of high heat spray from Home Depot. While the cage basket, I got on clearance at Target.

Let’s get started!

Step 1: PICK OUT A BASKET. Please make sure that you chose a container that has plenty of ventilation.

Step 2: DRILL THE HOLE. Use a drill bit that is made to cut metal.

Step 3: SPRAY PAINT. I decided to use a high heat spray paint over the whole piece…just to be on the safe side.

Step 4: Add your pendant mechanics.

And there you have it! Now I have plans to put this lighting in either the dining area or the man cave/sitting area. We shall see!
